Fundraiser Terms and Conditions

The rules for registering, publishing, managing, promoting and closing a fundraising campaign on the AidMatch platform.

Version: 2.0Effective: 18 October 2026Applies to: AidMatch website & mobile apps
All policies
These Terms apply to every individual, family, school, church, company or organisation that creates a campaign on AidMatch. Please read them before you submit a campaign — you will be asked to accept them during registration.

1Introduction and Acceptance

These Fundraiser Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the registration, publication, management, promotion and closure of fundraising campaigns through AidMatch Foundation ("AidMatch", "we", "us" or "our").

AidMatch operates a digital platform designed to connect fundraising campaigns, projects and beneficiaries with donors and supporters.

By registering a campaign, submitting an application or accepting these Terms through the AidMatch platform, you ("Fundraiser", "you" or "your") agree to comply with these Terms, the applicable campaign conditions and any relevant platform policies.

If you register on behalf of an organisation, family, company or another person, you confirm that you have the necessary authority to act on their behalf.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not proceed with registering, publishing or operating a campaign through AidMatch.

Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any additional consent, authorisation, verification or agreement required by law or for a particular campaign.

2Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • 2.1 AidMatch Platform: The AidMatch Foundation website, mobile applications, dashboards and associated digital services.
  • 2.2 Fundraiser: An individual, family, informal group, school, church, company, NGO or other eligible applicant that registers and manages a fundraising campaign through AidMatch.
  • 2.3 Campaign: A fundraising activity created to collect donations for a specified need, goal, cause or project.
  • 2.4 Project: A planned activity, programme or intervention intended to achieve defined results for beneficiaries or a community.
  • 2.5 Donor: A person or organisation that voluntarily contributes money or other approved support to a campaign or project.
  • 2.6 Fundraising Partner: A person or organisation approved by AidMatch to promote an existing campaign and connect it with potential donors. A Fundraising Partner is distinct from the Fundraiser responsible for the campaign.
  • 2.7 Platform Fee: The 5% fee applicable to donations collected through eligible fundraiser campaigns, subject to the applicable disclosed fee arrangement. This fee does not automatically apply to sponsors supporting approved projects under a separate sponsorship arrangement.
  • 2.8 Payment Processing Charges: Fees charged by payment providers, banks, mobile money operators or other payment intermediaries.
  • 2.9 Campaign Beneficiary: The individual, family, community, organisation or group intended to benefit from a campaign.
  • 2.10 Approved Payment Arrangement: The payment services and payment channels authorised by AidMatch for the relevant campaign.
  • 2.11 Implementing Partner: An organisation authorised under a separate agreement to carry out approved activities or deliver project benefits.
  • 2.12 Campaign Budget: The approved financial plan describing expected costs, permitted expenditure and the intended allocation of funds.

3Eligibility and Registration

3.1 Eligible applicants may include individuals, families, NGOs, schools, churches, learning centres, cultural institutions, community organisations, companies and other applicants accepted by AidMatch.

3.2 Registration is subject to AidMatch's eligibility criteria, verification requirements and campaign approval process.

3.3 You must provide accurate, complete, current and truthful information during registration and throughout the campaign.

3.4 You must provide identification, organisational registration documents, project proposals, budgets, beneficiary information, authorisations or other reasonable evidence requested by AidMatch.

3.5 If you register on behalf of another person, family, organisation or beneficiary, you must have the necessary authority and permissions.

3.6 Registration does not guarantee approval, publication, donations or achievement of a fundraising target.

3.7 AidMatch may request additional information, return an application for correction, decline an application or restrict an account in accordance with these Terms and applicable policies.

3.8 AidMatch may conduct proportionate identity, legitimacy, safeguarding, financial-risk and other verification checks where appropriate.

4Campaign Approval and Publication

4.1 A campaign may be published only after completing the required approval and verification process.

4.2 You must ensure that the campaign title, description, fundraising target, budget, intended use of funds, beneficiary details and supporting documents are accurate.

4.3 You must clearly explain the need being addressed, how donations are intended to be used and any material conditions that may affect implementation.

4.4 You must not publish misleading statements, fabricated evidence, false beneficiary information, unauthorised photographs or unsupported claims.

4.5 You must not create duplicate or misleading campaigns intended to deceive donors or collect donations for the same costs without appropriate disclosure.

4.6 AidMatch may request corrections or supporting evidence before publication or during a campaign.

4.7 Significant changes to the fundraising purpose, beneficiaries, budget, target or implementation plan require notification to AidMatch and may require prior approval.

4.8 AidMatch may decline or suspend a campaign that does not satisfy its requirements.

4.9 Campaign approval means that AidMatch has completed the applicable review at the relevant time. It must not be represented as an unconditional guarantee of the Fundraiser, beneficiary, project outcome or future use of funds.

5Fundraiser Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • 5.1 Use donations only for the approved campaign purpose and in accordance with applicable donor agreements.
  • 5.2 Provide accurate information about beneficiaries, project activities, budgets, expected outcomes and material changes.
  • 5.3 Maintain appropriate financial records, receipts, invoices, budgets and supporting evidence relating to donations and expenditure.
  • 5.4 Submit progress updates, financial reports and completion reports when required by the campaign agreement or AidMatch.
  • 5.5 Cooperate with reasonable verification requests, compliance reviews, donor enquiries and project monitoring.
  • 5.6 Notify AidMatch promptly of material changes, unexpected expenses, project delays, cancellation, beneficiary circumstances or other matters that could affect the campaign.
  • 5.7 Protect beneficiary dignity, confidentiality and privacy, particularly when working with children, patients and vulnerable families.
  • 5.8 Obtain appropriate permissions before publishing personal information, photographs, medical information or other sensitive material.
  • 5.9 Comply with applicable laws, safeguarding requirements, anti-fraud rules and AidMatch policies.
  • 5.10 Avoid misleading donors about the amount raised, the availability of funds, the progress of a project or the impact achieved.
  • 5.11 Disclose any material conflict of interest, related-party transaction or personal financial interest that could affect the campaign.
  • 5.12 Use campaign funds only through the approved payment and expenditure arrangements. You must not make unauthorised transfers to yourself, relatives, related organisations or other parties.

6Platform Fee and Fee Disclosure

6.1 AidMatch applies a standard platform fee of 5% to eligible donations collected through fundraiser campaigns on the platform, subject to the applicable campaign-specific fee arrangement.

6.2 The 5% platform fee is intended to contribute towards the operation, maintenance, promotion and development of AidMatch, including platform infrastructure, staff, administration, security and other essential operating costs.

6.3 The applicable fee arrangement must be disclosed clearly before a donor completes a donation. The disclosure must identify the fee percentage, the amount charged where reasonably calculable, the amount remaining for the campaign and any additional payment processing charges.

6.4 Where the fee is deducted from the donation, the checkout or campaign disclosure must explain that the donation amount will be reduced by the applicable platform fee and any other disclosed charges.

Example: If a donor contributes €100 to an eligible fundraiser campaign and the 5% fee is deducted from the donation, the platform fee is €5 and €95 remains for the campaign before any additional separately disclosed charges.

6.5 If AidMatch offers an optional additional contribution to help cover platform costs, that contribution must be voluntary, clearly described and not preselected in a misleading manner.

6.6 The 5% fundraiser platform fee does not automatically apply to sponsors supporting approved projects under a separate sponsorship arrangement. Where AidMatch's monitoring, verification, allocation or reporting costs are included in an approved project budget, those costs must be presented in that project's proposal or budget rather than automatically imposed as a sponsor fee.

6.7 Payment processing charges are separate from the standard 5% platform fee. Their amount and treatment must be disclosed where applicable.

6.8 Any exemption, adjustment, alternative fee arrangement or special campaign agreement must be expressly approved by AidMatch and documented in writing.

6.9 Fees already applied, refunds of fees and any exceptional adjustments will be handled according to the disclosed fee terms, applicable donor agreements, payment-provider rules and applicable law.

6.10 AidMatch must not describe a fee as mandatory where it is optional, or describe a donation as fully allocated to a campaign when a fee or deduction applies.

7Payment Processing and Disbursement

7.1 Donations must be made through payment channels authorised for the relevant campaign.

7.2 AidMatch will use its authorised payment arrangements to process donations and manage allocation in accordance with the applicable campaign terms, donor restrictions, project agreements and payment-provider requirements.

7.3 The specific payment provider, payment method, processing charges and applicable disbursement arrangements may vary by country and campaign.

7.4 Before a campaign launches, the Fundraiser must review the applicable payment and disbursement arrangements, including any requirements for receiving funds.

7.5 AidMatch may request bank account details, identity verification, organisational documents or other information necessary to establish an authorised recipient.

7.6 Funds must be allocated and disbursed only to authorised recipients in accordance with the applicable campaign agreement and verified payment instructions.

7.7 The timing of a disbursement may depend on payment-provider processing, settlement periods, verification, refunds, chargebacks, compliance reviews and other relevant requirements.

7.8 AidMatch does not guarantee a particular disbursement date where processing depends on third-party providers, required checks or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

7.9 Amounts displayed as raised may differ from amounts available for disbursement because of platform fees, payment processing charges, refunds, reversals, disputes or other applicable adjustments.

7.10 AidMatch will maintain appropriate records of donations received through its authorised payment arrangements, fees applied, refunds, adjustments and disbursements, subject to applicable legal and contractual requirements.

7.11 AidMatch will not knowingly allocate funds contrary to a clearly communicated donor restriction unless the donor has validly agreed to a permitted change or another lawful basis applies.

7.12 Fundraisers must not independently collect, redirect or transfer donations outside the approved payment arrangement unless AidMatch has expressly authorised the arrangement in writing.

8Holding or Restricting Funds

8.1 AidMatch may temporarily restrict withdrawals, suspend disbursements or place a hold on funds where there are reasonable grounds to suspect:

  • Fraud, deception or misrepresentation.
  • Misuse or diversion of donations.
  • Identity, ownership or beneficiary verification concerns.
  • Unauthorised transactions or suspicious payment activity.
  • Safeguarding, legal or regulatory concerns.
  • A material breach of these Terms or the applicable campaign agreement.
  • A payment dispute, chargeback or other material financial risk.

8.2 During a review, AidMatch may request additional evidence, verify information, consult payment providers or refer matters to relevant authorities where appropriate.

8.3 Where reasonably practicable and legally permitted, AidMatch will inform the Fundraiser of a hold and its general reason, while protecting confidential information and the integrity of investigations.

8.4 Holds must be reviewed in accordance with AidMatch procedures and applicable legal obligations. AidMatch will act to resolve a restriction as promptly as reasonably practicable.

8.5 Following a review, funds may be released, refunded, retained pending further lawful action or otherwise handled in accordance with the applicable agreements, investigation findings and legal requirements.

8.6 A Fundraiser must not attempt to circumvent a lawful or policy-based hold by creating another account or arranging an unauthorised transfer.

9Fraud, Misuse and Prohibited Conduct

9.1 You must not use AidMatch to facilitate fraud, money laundering, deception, unlawful activities or the misappropriation of donations.

9.2 You must not invent beneficiaries, falsify documents, inflate costs dishonestly, misrepresent project progress or use another person's identity without authorisation.

9.3 You must not use donations for personal purposes unrelated to the approved campaign.

9.4 You must not offer false guarantees, fabricate endorsements, manipulate campaign figures or mislead donors about the status of a project.

9.5 You must promptly report suspected fraud, unauthorised transactions or material misuse of funds to AidMatch.

9.6 Where a breach is suspected or established, AidMatch may suspend a campaign, restrict account access, hold disbursements, request repayment where legally justified or take other proportionate action under these Terms and applicable law.

9.7 AidMatch may cooperate with payment providers, auditors, regulators, law enforcement or other competent authorities where legally required or appropriate.

9.8 AidMatch may conduct risk-based checks on Fundraisers, campaign purposes and intended recipients to reduce the risk of fraudulent or sham fundraising. Such checks do not guarantee the absence of fraud or future misuse.

10Campaign Cancellation, Closure and Refunds

10.1 A Fundraiser may request cancellation or closure by contacting AidMatch through its designated support channel.

10.2 Cancelling a campaign does not automatically entitle the Fundraiser to receive all funds collected or retain donations regardless of the campaign's circumstances.

10.3 AidMatch will assess the campaign terms, published purpose, donor restrictions, applicable refund policy, payment-provider rules, legal obligations and relevant evidence when determining the appropriate handling of funds.

10.4 Depending on the applicable conditions, AidMatch may arrange refunds, approve the use of funds for permitted outstanding campaign expenses, or consider reallocating remaining donations to another eligible purpose where permitted by law and the relevant donor instructions.

10.5 Where reallocation is permitted, AidMatch will notify the Fundraiser and inform affected donors as required by the applicable agreements, consent requirements and law. Where donor consent is legally required, AidMatch will not treat silence as consent.

10.6 The 5% platform fee is not automatically refundable following cancellation. Refunds of platform fees and payment processing charges will be governed by the published fee terms, donor agreements, payment-provider rules and applicable law.

10.7 Refunds, where approved, will be processed according to the payment provider, original payment method, verification requirements and applicable refund procedures.

10.8 If a campaign is cancelled because of fraud, suspected misuse or an unresolved investigation, funds may remain restricted while the matter is reviewed, subject to applicable law.

10.9 AidMatch will maintain records of cancellation decisions, refunds, permitted reallocations and communications with affected parties.

11Medical Campaigns and Unexpected Events

11.1 Medical campaigns must accurately describe the intended treatment, medical need, beneficiary, proposed use of donations and supporting evidence, subject to appropriate privacy protections.

11.2 The Fundraiser must promptly notify AidMatch if the patient's condition changes materially, treatment becomes unavailable, the patient dies or the original campaign purpose can no longer be fulfilled.

11.3 When a patient dies before the campaign is completed, AidMatch will review the remaining funds, campaign terms, donor instructions, evidence of outstanding expenses and applicable law.

11.4 Depending on the circumstances and permitted arrangements, remaining funds may be used for approved outstanding expenses, refunded to donors or redirected to another eligible purpose where legally permitted and appropriately authorised.

11.5 The Fundraiser must not independently redirect donations to another beneficiary or purpose without the necessary approval.

11.6 These provisions also apply, as appropriate, to any other unexpected event that makes the original campaign purpose impossible or materially different.

12Fundraising Partners and Campaign Promotion

12.1 Fundraisers may share approved campaign links and invite others to help promote campaigns, subject to AidMatch's policies.

12.2 A Fundraising Partner is a person or organisation approved by AidMatch to promote an existing campaign. The Fundraiser and Fundraising Partner have different roles and responsibilities.

12.3 Fundraising Partners approved through AidMatch generally provide promotional support voluntarily unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise.

12.4 The Fundraising Partner role does not guarantee payment, commission, reimbursement or any other financial benefit. Fundraisers must not promise payment on behalf of AidMatch.

12.5 AidMatch retains the right to approve, reject, restrict, suspend or remove fundraising partners in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

12.6 Fundraisers must not represent an unapproved person as an officially authorised AidMatch Fundraising Partner.

12.7 Any independent paid promotional arrangements entered into directly between a Fundraiser and another party are the responsibility of those parties. AidMatch is not automatically a party to or guarantor of such arrangements.

12.8 Additional services provided directly by AidMatch, including public relations, advertising, blogs, video production, international campaigns or specialised organisational promotion, may require a separate written agreement specifying the scope, responsibilities and charges.

12.9 Fundraising Partners must not make misleading statements when promoting campaigns or allow promotional materials to misrepresent AidMatch's approval or endorsement.

13Campaigns and Projects

13.1 A campaign is the fundraising activity through which donations are solicited for a defined purpose. A project is the underlying planned activity, programme or intervention.

13.2 One project may be supported by more than one campaign where AidMatch approves the arrangement and the fundraising purpose and budgets are clearly distinguished.

13.3 Fundraisers must disclose relevant existing funding, commitments or overlapping campaigns where these could affect the amount needed.

13.4 Donations raised for a specific campaign must be accounted for separately as required by AidMatch and the applicable agreement.

13.5 If a project is completed, becomes impossible to implement or changes substantially, the Fundraiser must notify AidMatch promptly.

13.6 Any change in the use of remaining donations must follow the campaign terms, donor instructions, approval requirements and applicable law.

13.7 Project budgets should identify relevant implementation, monitoring, verification, administration and reporting costs where applicable. Costs included in a project budget must be clearly described so donors understand how the proposed total will be used.

13.8 AidMatch approval does not guarantee that a project will achieve its intended outcomes or that all requested funding will be raised.

14Privacy, Personal Data and Safeguarding

14.1 Fundraisers must collect, use, store and share personal data only where they have an appropriate lawful basis and for purposes compatible with the campaign.

14.2 Fundraisers must take particular care when handling children's information, medical information, identity documents, photographs and information about vulnerable individuals.

14.3 Appropriate consent, authorisation and safeguarding measures must be obtained before publishing identifiable beneficiary information where required.

14.4 Fundraisers must not publish information that exposes beneficiaries to avoidable risks, discrimination, exploitation or harm.

14.5 AidMatch may remove or restrict material that breaches privacy, safeguarding or platform policies.

14.6 Personal data handled by AidMatch will be processed in accordance with its applicable Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws.

14.7 Fundraisers must not collect more personal information than necessary, use beneficiary information for unrelated purposes or disclose it to unauthorised parties.

14.8 Fundraisers must use appropriate security measures, restrict access to authorised people and promptly report suspected data breaches involving campaign information.

14.9 Where AidMatch and another organisation jointly determine the purposes and means of processing personal data, their responsibilities must be addressed in accordance with applicable data protection law. Where an organisation processes personal data on behalf of AidMatch, appropriate data-processing terms must be put in place where required.

14.10 Personal data must be retained only for as long as necessary, subject to applicable legal, accounting, safeguarding and recordkeeping obligations.

15Reporting, Records and Monitoring

15.1 Fundraisers must maintain accurate records of donations, expenditure, project activities and the use of funds.

15.2 Fundraisers must submit reports and supporting evidence within the timeframes specified in the campaign agreement or reasonably requested under applicable platform procedures.

15.3 AidMatch may request receipts, invoices, progress reports, photographs where appropriate, independent verification reports or other evidence reasonably related to the campaign.

15.4 AidMatch may conduct proportionate document reviews, remote checks or field verification where appropriate and lawful.

15.5 Fundraisers must cooperate with reasonable monitoring and respond truthfully to requests for information.

15.6 Failure to provide required evidence may result in delayed disbursement, restricted campaign activity, suspension or other proportionate action permitted by these Terms and applicable law.

15.7 AidMatch will maintain appropriate records of campaign approval, fee disclosures, donation processing, disbursements, refunds, significant changes and acceptance of these Terms.

16Platform Availability and Intellectual Property

16.1 AidMatch aims to provide reliable access to its website and applications but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

16.2 The platform may undergo maintenance, security updates or technical changes.

16.3 AidMatch retains its rights in its name, branding, software, design and platform materials, subject to applicable law.

16.4 You retain rights you lawfully hold in materials you submit, but grant AidMatch a non-exclusive permission to use those materials as reasonably necessary to review, publish, promote, administer and report on the campaign, subject to applicable law, privacy rights and the relevant agreement.

16.5 You confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit campaign materials and authorise the uses described above.

16.6 AidMatch may remove materials that infringe third-party rights or breach these Terms.

17Suspension and Termination

17.1 AidMatch may suspend, restrict or terminate a campaign or account where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, fraud concerns, safeguarding risks, legal obligations, payment disputes or other serious operational risks.

17.2 Where reasonably practicable and legally permitted, AidMatch will inform the Fundraiser of the reason and any steps needed to address the issue. Immediate action may be necessary to prevent harm or comply with legal obligations.

17.3 Fundraisers may request campaign closure in accordance with the applicable procedures.

17.4 Closure or termination does not eliminate outstanding reporting, refund, repayment, privacy, investigation or other obligations that survive under the applicable agreements or law.

17.5 Remaining funds will be handled under the campaign terms, donor agreement, refund policy, applicable law and any relevant restrictions.

18Liability and Responsibility

18.1 Fundraisers are responsible for the accuracy of their submissions, compliance with these Terms and the proper and reported use of funds entrusted to them.

18.2 AidMatch does not guarantee that a campaign will receive donations, reach its target or achieve its intended outcomes.

18.3 AidMatch does not guarantee the conduct or performance of every Fundraiser, beneficiary, supplier or third-party service provider.

18.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for fraud or other non-excludable obligations.

18.5 Subject to applicable law, AidMatch is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by a Fundraiser, unauthorised acts of third parties or events beyond its reasonable control.

18.6 Nothing in this section removes any rights or remedies that a Fundraiser or donor may have under mandatory applicable law.

19Complaints and Disputes

19.1 Fundraisers should first submit complaints or concerns through AidMatch's designated support channel, providing relevant details and supporting evidence.

19.2 AidMatch will review complaints in accordance with its applicable procedures and legal obligations.

19.3 Where appropriate, AidMatch may request further information, investigate the matter and communicate its decision and any available review process.

19.4 The parties should seek to resolve disputes in good faith before commencing formal proceedings, unless urgent legal action is necessary.

19.5 These Terms are subject to the applicable law identified in the final approved version of this document. Mandatory consumer, data protection, payment and other legal rights remain unaffected.

20Changes to These Terms

20.1 AidMatch may update these Terms to reflect changes in its services, policies, legal obligations or operational requirements.

20.2 Material changes will be communicated through appropriate platform notices or other reasonable means.

20.3 Where required by law or the nature of the change, AidMatch will obtain renewed acceptance before applying revised Terms to relevant activities.

20.4 The version applicable to a campaign and the date of acceptance should be recorded by the platform.

21General Provisions

21.1 These Terms should be read together with the applicable donor agreement, Privacy Policy, Fees and Payments Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Safeguarding Policy.

21.2 If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

21.3 A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not necessarily constitute a waiver of that provision.

21.4 These Terms do not authorise any activity that would otherwise be unlawful or remove any regulatory authorisation required for the services being provided.

21.5 Where a separate written agreement expressly modifies a specific provision of these Terms, the agreed modification will apply to the extent permitted by law.

23Fundraiser Declaration and Electronic Acceptance

By selecting the acceptance checkbox and submitting an application, I confirm that:

  • I have read and understood the AidMatch Foundation Fundraiser Terms and Conditions.
  • The information and documents I have provided are accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge.
  • I am authorised to register and manage this campaign where applicable.
  • I understand the applicable platform fee, including the 5% fee for eligible fundraiser campaigns, and the possibility of additional payment processing charges.
  • I understand the verification, payment processing, fund-handling, cancellation, refund and reporting provisions applicable to my campaign.
  • I agree to comply with applicable law, donor restrictions, privacy requirements, safeguarding obligations and AidMatch policies.
  • I understand that campaign approval does not guarantee that donations will be raised or that the intended outcome will be achieved.
  • I understand that acceptance of these Terms does not replace any additional agreement or authorisation required for my campaign.

24Verification, Protection of Funds and Reallocation

24.1 Additional verification and investigation

AidMatch Foundation reserves the right to conduct additional verification, monitoring, audits, site visits, document reviews, beneficiary checks, financial reviews, or other reasonable investigations where it identifies or reasonably suspects fraud, misrepresentation, misuse of funds, irregular financial activity, safeguarding concerns, failure to provide required reports, or a material discrepancy between the approved campaign or project and its actual implementation.

The Fundraiser must cooperate with reasonable verification requests and provide accurate supporting documents, financial records, implementation updates, and other information reasonably required by AidMatch Foundation.

24.2 Suspension and protection of funds

Where AidMatch Foundation reasonably believes that donations may be at risk, it may temporarily suspend disbursements, restrict access to funds, request further evidence, or take other proportionate measures to protect donors, beneficiaries, and the integrity of the platform, subject to applicable law and the relevant payment arrangements.

Where practicable and lawful, AidMatch Foundation will inform the Fundraiser of the reason for the measure and the information or corrective action required.

24.3 Failure to implement or meet approved expectations

If a Fundraiser or implementing organisation fails, materially delays, or is unable to implement an approved campaign or project in accordance with its approved proposal, budget, objectives, implementation schedule, reporting obligations, or other material commitments communicated to donors, AidMatch Foundation may require corrective action, enhanced monitoring, a revised implementation plan, or additional verification.

If the failure is not reasonably remedied, or continued implementation is no longer appropriate or feasible, AidMatch Foundation may suspend or terminate the campaign or relevant project and consider reallocating the affected funds in accordance with this clause.

24.4 Reallocation or redirection of funds

Where fraud, misuse of funds, serious implementation failure, inability to complete the approved project, or another material risk is established or reasonably substantiated, AidMatch Foundation may take appropriate steps to protect and redirect the affected funds.

Any reallocation must be consistent with applicable law, the donor's stated restrictions and the terms under which the donation was made, relevant agreements, and payment-provider requirements. Where required, AidMatch Foundation will obtain the donor's consent or provide a refund or another legally permissible solution.

Where reallocation is permitted, funds may be redirected to another eligible and appropriately verified project, implementing organisation, or beneficiary need that is consistent with the original donation's purpose as closely as reasonably possible.

AidMatch Foundation will keep appropriate records of material reallocation decisions and, where appropriate and lawful, communicate the decision and its reasons to affected donors.

24.5 No guarantee of unrestricted reallocation

This clause does not give AidMatch Foundation an unrestricted right to use restricted donations for unrelated purposes. AidMatch Foundation will handle affected funds in accordance with applicable legal obligations, donor restrictions, and the relevant campaign, project, and payment terms.

Acceptance

By clicking the acceptance box, I confirm that I have read, understood and accepted the AidMatch Foundation Fundraiser Terms and Conditions and the applicable campaign policies.
